ReplyDeleteI usually write a story (2000 words) a week, since the writing class I'm taking demands that we pump them out. :-P Sometimes it's really hard to get inspired think of what to write, trying to find new topics and such everyweek. But I've found, you can't just wait for inspiration. Usually, if I just start writing, even if it's stupid, I warm up and end up thinking of something. Sometimes, things like paintings or watching people interact (like in the mall or something) helps you to think of a good story. :-P

ReplyDeleteInspiration comes randomly for me. It might come when I read a book or a blog or when I watch a movie. Or even when I listen to music.
ReplyDeleteI try to write at least one blog post every week. I don't write that much literary compositions (like stories) though I want to. I just don't have enough time.
Thank you for hosting this lovely giveaway!

ReplyDeleteI don't write as often as I should, but I try to write at least twice a week.
My average word count is 500 words at a time. During NaNoWriMo in 2009 I averaged about 1000 words an hour, but I haven't gotten back up to that in a while.
I follow this blog... now :)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite item from Bookish Charm is hands down the In Vain Mr Darcy quote necklace! Pride & Prejudice is one of my favorite books!!!! I love the language and the love and of course I love Mr. Darcy. I'm a hopeless romantic, so I love love! <3
How do I get inspired? Honestly, I can get inspired by anything. Sometimes it's music, sometimes it's nature. But more times than not, I'm strongly inspired by my faith. God has saved me more times than I deserve so I want to help others know Him. I want to help others know that He is with them no matter where they are in life. So most of my writings are about Him. Some are about my struggles and how He has helped me overcome them. I don't write as often as I used to, but I write quite a bit. I'm a writer for an online Christian magazine so that's where most of my writing goes. I only have a couple of posts on my blog, though I hope to start posting there more frequently. I want to inspire people. I want them to know that they can do anything with God. <3
I follow this blog :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Mr. Darcy quote necklace, the inkwell necklace, and the "all the world's a stage" necklace.

I get inspired by #1 Hands Down my Bible. Then nature, then my best friend(s), then by a blank piece of paper. Sometimes by artwork. SO many things...
ReplyDeleteI blogged about it! http://we-are-deifiurs.blogspot.com/2011/03/few-things.html
ReplyDeleteOops, couldn't add to my above one =P To continue... I write at least once a day. My average word count is WAY too many for anyone to count... I'm not a BIG talker, but I like to talk, especially those I love.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun giveaway! :)

ReplyDeleteAnd I am usually inspired by other people's writing, or by watching a beautiful movie, or by listening to moving music. I go on flings where I write tons and tons and then I go and rewrite everything I've written over about three times and then I don't write at all for a few months. :P
ReplyDeleteOh my word, so lovely! <3
ReplyDeleteI really love this from her shop...though everything is so neat.

ReplyDeleteHow do I get inspired? It depends. Different things inspire me for different things, too, so just because I say something like "France is inspiring!" doesn't mean I'm going to write because I'm inspired. It might inspire me, like I want to go there kind of inspiration. So basically, lots of things inspire me, but it might not be to write.
ReplyDeleteHow often do I write? Not nearly enough, in my opinion. But I'm working on writing more. ;-)
The 'not all who wander are lost' necklace!
ReplyDeleteI follow!
ReplyDeleteI get inspired by doing some form of art... leaf art, sketching, painting, cooking some exotic food... I always feel refreshed afterwords.
