Writing is Work

"Writing is physical work. It's sweaty work. You just can't will yourself to become a good writer. You really have to work at it."
~ Will Haygood

"I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have."

I couldn't agree more with the first one.

Yeah, you can't just wait for an inspiration. I like deadlines cause they make you write even when the Muses aren't working for you. Hahaha, this reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes.
Calvin: You can't turn on creativity like a faucet. You have to be in the right mood.
Hobbes: What mood is that?
Calvin: last-minute panic!
